Content on NextName is created by fans and athletes, framed as news commentary and fan discussion. This is the same basis that sports media and fan publications use. Founding schools partner to understand and shape how their fan community uses the platform.

Team and school names are used to identify the teams fans follow, not to imply partnership. NextName is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any college, university, conference, or the NCAA.
