Seattle’s Sophie Stephenson Signs NIL Deal

Chicago, IL, Sept 16th, 2022 – University of Illinois volleyball outside hitter Sophie Stephenson has officially signed a ‘name, image, likeness’ (NIL) deal with NextName which offers fans the opportunity to support her through the sale of her personal digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The collectibles are robust media file with images, music, school logo, and playing statistics. Stephenson directly receives the majority of proceeds from the sale of her digital collectibles. NextName is excited to welcome Stephenson to the platform and invites fans to show their support by purchasing her personal or team digital collectibles here: Sophie Stephenson - NextName Stephenson played for Washington Volleyball Academy (WVBA) where she was a three-time Emerald Sound Conference (1A) All-League First Team, and a four-year varsity starter for The Bush School, helping lead her team to a runner-up finish in the Emerald Sound Conference (1A) as a freshman. She also helped WVBA 16 Adidas place Top 30 at the AAU Nationals. The Illini look forward to her contributions to the team this year.
