The Gies College of Business alumni network runs its community on NextName. The group brings business networking together with Illini game day: happy hours, watch parties, homecoming weekend, and tailgates at Gies Memorial Stadium. Three events are on the fall 2026 calendar, and you can join the group from this page.
The club
The group is where Gies alumni keep up with each other between reunions. Members see the event calendar, RSVP from their phone, and post photos to the wall after every gathering.
Business networking meets game day here. The fall calendar runs from a golf and pickleball outing at Oak Park Country Club to homecoming weekend in Champaign, ending with the alumni tailgate at Gies Memorial Stadium.
The group is also the home of the Gies alumni x athlete scholarship initiative, currently in formation.
